Stefanie and Andrew have a number of spaces yet to perfect at the Main Street Farmhouse, and more than enough know-how to finish them. Find out what’s on the agenda.<\/p>\n

Main Street Farmhouse Going Forward<\/h3>\n

Post and Beam Living:\u00a0<\/strong>What is your next project?<\/p>\n

Stefanie:\u00a0<\/strong> The next project… where do I start? I don\u2019t think projects ever end for us. We are always looking for a way to make a space more unique or better. We are currently working to finish the fireplace and the brick surround. Our next big project is the mudroom. It\u2019s the major landing space for all our things. Our aim is to make it not only functional and organized but aesthetically pleasing and in sync with the overall style of the farmhouse. I have lots of Pins \u00a0on Pinterest lined up for this one. \u00a0I have a favorite store in Kennebunkport, Maine, that sells reclaimed house parts. It’s called Old House Parts<\/a>. I\u2019ve purchased our pantry door, the vintage porcelain sink and recently, a few windows for Andrew (wink<\/em>). I\u2019d like him to transform them into a barn door with a transom for the main entry.<\/p>\n

As far as the outside is concerned, I have a few ideas brewing for that space, too. I\u2019ll let you know\u2026.<\/p>\n

Editor’s Note<\/strong>: Since this interview took place, Stefanie has gotten back to us with exciting news about the exterior of the Main Street farmhouse. \u00a0Landscaping has begun (Stefanie designed), the barbecue pit and patio are almost done, and best of all, there will be an in-ground pool installed very soon!<\/p>\n
