Contemporary Barn House<\/h3>\n

The Tisbury has an open concept floor plan. Coming in at 2983 square feet, the key element in this design is the \u201cT\u201d shape of the home. The top of the \u201cT\u201d consists of a timbered 1 \u00bd story mudroom, kitchen, dining and great room. The base of the \u201cT\u201d contains the entry, family room, staircase and master suite.<\/p>\n

The design of the Tisbury is archetypal Yankee Barn Homes, with its roots planted firmly in\u00a0classic New England barn style architecture. There is expansive use of glass for views and passive solar gain with a lofted post and beam frame anchoring spacious rooms. The style is one of open, relaxed areas with a contemporary edge. A neutral color palette sets the stage for modern furniture and fixtures. The staircase is a main focal point upon entrance. The upper level houses three bedrooms and two full baths.<\/p>\n

The Tisbury floor plan is perfect for a family or an aging-in-place couple who might use the main level as primary living space, with the second level used when friends and family visit. If needed or wanted, we include plans for the lower level, which adds an additional 2000 square feet and allows for a media room, a gym, one bedroom with full bath and a bonus half bath. The pool house\/garage has a full foundation for workshop and\/or storage.<\/p>\n
