[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Our newest small barn home is making serious progress. The last we saw the Eastman House plan it was completing the design process. A lot has happened in the last six weeks!<\/p>\n

Small Barn Home Goes Up<\/h3>\n

The Eastman House is a perfect floor plan for those who like an open concept design in a smaller foot print. Single floor living and an attached garage are just two of its many attractive features. At 1830 square feet, the two bedroom and two and one-half bath small barn home is larger than it\u2019s dimensions imply.<\/p>\n

Single Level Living<\/h3>\n

The main living area of this small barn home encompasses the kitchen, dining and living rooms under a vaulted ceiling reaching seventeen feet at its peak. Strategically placed Marvin windows and patio doors allow light to flood the space. This adds to the sense of openness. The main floor also includes a master bedroom and bath, a mudroom, laundry room and half bath. The two-car attached garage and a deck off the dining room complete the first level. An open, turned staircase leads to a second level bedroom and bath.<\/p>\n

Optional Lower Level<\/h3>\n

Yankee Barn Homes includes an optional design plan for the lower level. The current build is on a sloped site, allowing a walk-out basement to function as additional living space. However, sloped or not, the lower level plan includes two additional bedrooms, baths, laundry room, family room and a separate space for the mechanical room.<\/p>\n
