While clients want a lovely home that serves many purposes, the one feature we see requested time and again is the ability for the home to accommodate the age in place process. Our latest design, The Cooperstown, is a 3030 sq ft farmhouse style post and beam does just this, and more.<\/p>\n

Inspired by our Clove Hill Farmhouse<\/a> design, The Cooperstown takes the farmhouse style to the next level by accommodating a master suite on the first floor. Intended to allow the couple to stay in their \u201cforever home\u201d, the house is designed around the needs of an active couple with plenty of space for friends and family visits. One of the more unique features is the fenced in Kitchen Garden accessed by way of the sun-room. This shows great thought and planning by the couple and the YBH staff. No detail is too small; if it\u2019s important to you, it\u2019s important to us!If I didn\u2019t know better, I\u2019d swear this couple read my latest build\/design article on Storage Wars and Closet Capers<\/a> as they have incorporated built-in shelves and storage drawers into the design of both second level bedrooms. No space is wasted in this home, or any Yankee Barn Home. The design staff helps you make the most of every space available.<\/p>\n
