All the homes shown here are under 2650 square feet, some as small as 1142. For those of you thinking this may be on the larger side of small, you may have a point, but while these post and beam home plans from YBH may not come under the definition of tiny, there’s\u00a0 a lot of “bang for the buck” in these smaller home plans. The Craftsbury Cottage<\/h3>\n

The Craftsbury Cottage is a small post and beam floor coming in at 1713 square feet. Used as a guest house here, it could easily be reconfigured into a secondary home or primary house for empty nesters.<\/p>\n

The Bennington Carriage House<\/h3>\n

You may have seen this carriage house before (wink);\u00a0 probably due to it’s very popular classic New England look with an easily adapted floor plan. It’s been built several times with changes in size and layout as per individual client wishes. Here’s the original, coming in at a great-looking 1142 square feet.<\/p>\n

Moose Ridge Lodge is the ideal for a mountain style home or vacation home.\u00a0 Built by a young family as their “get-away” place in the White mountain region of New Hampshire, this home remains one of our most popular designs. Coming in at 1657 square feet is just one of the many reasons why.<\/p>\n

The Reading Cabin<\/h3>\n

The Reading cabin is a post and beam home on the larger side of small.\u00a0 This home boasts a master bedroom suite, plus two second level bedrooms.\u00a0 The cabin is still smaller though, at 2039 total square feet.<\/p>\n
