[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]In the previous two posts on this barn home, view here<\/a>, we followed the progress on the Yankee Barn Homes shingle style located in East Hampton, NY. The purpose of this post is to “catch you up” and hopefully, make you catch your breath, as the exterior of the home has been completed and professionally photographed by Chris Foster Photography<\/a> out of Amagansett, New York. If you look closely, you might even see new window stickers on some of the windows. However, it will not lessen the overall effect, believe me. This barn home has surprise after pleasant surprise to remind you of those grand old dames of the past built by McKim, Meade and White. Take a look! \"barn<\/a><\/p>\n

As you approach the house, your eye isn’t sure what to take in first; the bump-out window seat on the second level, the beautiful symmetry of the circular drive, or that glimpse of the pool house off to the back right side of the barn home.<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<\/div>\n

If you look closely, you’ll notice some of the windows also nod to the original Shingle Style through the use of their diamond-patterned grill work.<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<\/div>\n

Around back, the house gets even more stunning. The fireplace chimney, the low walled patio, the different grill work in the windows and oh yeah, that pool – all combine for a high WOW factor. BTW – the temporary metal fence will disappear once the hedge grows in sufficiently.<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<\/div>\n
